We like like to run tournaments here! We really do! Loneaspen.com has it's own private and
unique tournament system which make it easy to administrate, and play. Wins are automatically
counted and players are advanced (for normal tournaments).
Rules:
Admins
Every tournament will be run by an admininstrator. The
administrator will setup the tournament and announce as needed. Since
our tourney admins are not paid, please be kind to them. They have
the soul discretion as to whether or not you may play.
Behaviour
You are expected to behave in a sportsman like manner
during tournaments (well, all the time.) We will not tolerate players abusing
other players (or admins). The admin has 100% control, and will abandon the tournament or
ban players if they do not cooperate, fight, or stall the game. Most banning is
done by lobby, so if you do get banned, you can most likely play in another tournament.
Cheating
There will always be cheaters, and people calling others a
cheater. It's the nature of humans. If you suspect someone is cheating, please let the
admin know. Don't make a big deal about it though. Just let them know. As time passes
people will figure out ways to cheat, and those methods will be removed from the game as
soon as we can.
Disputes
The game determines who won. The admins cannot change that. The best
way to make sure your wins are counted is to play the proper opponent as listed on the
brackets. If you have not been advanced yet - don't start playing - the games WILL NOT COUNT.
Cash Tournaments
Some kind people donate money to loneaspen.com to run
tournaments with cash prizes, and NO entry fee. Donating money does not guarantee you
a spot in a tournament, it does not give you any extra privledges. Loneaspen.com does
appreciate the donations, believe me! Admin (red/blue) will not be paid if they win
a tournament, although they may get extra points. We don't reccommend admins play in
cash tournaments, but it happens now and then. They are human and like to play too!
